I get asked so many times where I go for different things. So I’ve decided to compile a list of my favorite websites! I hope these help, and I’m sure I’ll end up adding on to it pretty often! If you’re a member of my Facebook group, we have a thread full of recommended products, and where to get them! Also, if there’s a resource you’re looking for that I didn’t list, feel free to comment or email me. 🙂
Amazon:
Now, I do use Amazon for my Americolor gels, piping bags (master brand- great for royal icing), piping bags (thick- best for buttercream and piping macarons),      silicone baking mats, and many other items. I find that there are many things that I can just get faster from using Amazon. I do encourage shopping around and comparing prices, because sometimes it’s cheaper from the actual site. Although, this does work both ways! Also, 2-day shipping is hard to beat. 😉
Bakery Boxes:
I use BRP Box Shop for all of my bakery boxes. I find that you just can’t beat their customer service, fast shipping time, and quality! Did I mention that most of the United States receives free shipping?! You’ll love this site as much as I do!
Cutters:
I firmly believe that you do not need a specific cutter for every design you do. There’s always a way to flip a cutter and use it for many other designs. Plus, you can even just use regular shapes! When I do buy cutters, I always use The Cookie Cutter Shop . They ship super fast, have great customer service, and they never let me down!
Cottage Law Baking Information:
The best website to start your research on baking from home, and the laws involved in that, is forrager.com . They update regularly and also provide many links so you can further your research!
Natural Flavorings:
If you’ve looked at any of my dessert recipes you’ll quickly notice I’m a huge fan of Amoretti products! Their quality and extensive selection is unmatched! But, I will warn you; be ready to want to use so many flavors that you never even thought possible!
Home Baker’s Insurance:
Yes, as a home baker you should always have insurance. This is an extra precaution to cover you in case anyone files a complaint or gets sick. So I use FLIP (Food Liability Insurance Program). Everything is done online and it’s super simple to complete!
Invoicing System:
I use PayPal Business for all of my invoicing. It’s simple, easy to navigate, and most people are already using PayPal. So this makes it simple for your clients as well!
Macaron Clamshells:
I had the hardest time finding clamshells from a company that was consistent, and shipping wouldn’t take forever. Now, Mr. Take Out Bags gets all my business for my macaron clamshells!
Marketing Materials:
For business cards, brochures, stickers, banners, etc. I always use PrintRunner. This company always does an absolutely amazing job, and you can not beat their customer service. Their prices are amazing as well!
Pop-Up Tents:
We have a Pop-Up Tent for festivals, farmer’s markets, and pop-up events. So if you’re interested in these types of things, I highly recommend getting an ABC Canopy tent! They’re easy and fast to set up, and it has been very durable! Also, there are tons of accessories available.
Vegan Recipes That Don’t Fail:
I love Cooking on Caffeine because the vegan recipes are super simple to follow, and the ingredients aren’t hard to find! Also, a lovely perk is that the website author is a member of our group! She’s very knowledgeable and helpful!
